ASPESI opens its Tokyo flagship store

ASPESI opens its first Tokyo flagship store in Aoyama, the fashion epicenter of the Japanese capital. The new store fully transmits Aspesi's DNA, understated, unconventional aesthetics and its perspective on modernity.

The building housing the store looks like a reinforced concrete and glass container that lends itself to the sophisticated experimentation andtextural fusion that express Aspesi imaginary.

The  200 square metre space houses the Men's and Women's collections and is arranged on three levels. The staircase connecting the floors of the store is a sculptural element that accompanies the public in its exploration of the space, which features surprising combinations and tactile surfaces with raw materiality and natural origin. The floors in granite stone and oak wood are accompanied by smooth metals, the texture of cotton fabrics and plastic materials, among which the deep yellow of the PVC strips stands out.

Touches of color and material transparency make a foray into spaces with an industrial flavour, which feature  the marble furnishing that are the hallmark of recent ASPESI stores.

Full-height windows on two sides of the building promote a dialogue between the product and the public, creating a constant connection between inside and outside and ensuring that natural light becomes an integral part of the architectural project curated by Dordoni Architetti.
