Pragmatism, wearability, spirit. ASPESI’s history is permeated with the concept of functionality. An example? The brand was the first to introduce the down jacket - until then considered a purely performance-based garment - as a staple piece in a more urban, versatile wardrobe. The idea behind its launch came about during a chat between Alberto Aspesi and Franco Moschino, who gave his name to the jacket.

Technical outerwear then became cornerstones of the ASPESI wardrobe, the quintessential combination of the creation of iconic, timeless garments and a constant search for innovative, original materials. 

ASPESI criteria are given voice in the desire to respect the products that form the vocabulary of archetypes: single products that offer the wearer the tools to create their own personal language.

Whichever way they are combined, the result is a uniform that counters uniformity. 

It is in this context that the “Fundamentals” are presented: Pinguino, Gabetta, Orso, Magenta, Moschino, Down Jacket, Down Gilet, technical outerwear that cuts across gender, generations and fits. 
Their selection goes beyond conventions: a plethora of sizes actually designed as various fits, different ways of wearing the pieces to suit one’s own language.
